Chapter transcript
  1. 01:25:40 I like to say there's a stack of stuff that doesn't make sense that's about this high.
  2. 01:25:45 When I heard from Dr Woodcock that it's something that we should try to investigate in a randomized controlled study,
  3. 01:25:51 I even reached out to a company that was licensed and approved
  4. 01:25:55 to make that drug in the United States to see if they could
  5. 01:25:58 donate that drug to the NIH to conduct those clinical studies.
  6. 01:26:02 It was only after I learned that that supply that was being discussed was coming in from Pakistan and from India,
  7. 01:26:09 from facilities that were not approved by the FDA and the drug was not approved for use in the United States,
  8. 01:26:15 that I became increasingly alarmed of having that drug in the United States.
  9. 01:26:20 There are risks in using drugs manufactured from facilities not inspected by the FDA.
  10. 01:26:24 In a 2021 correspondence with Dr. Woodcock
  11. 01:26:27 in a question about the quality of the donated hydroxychloroquine,
  12. 01:26:30 she told us,
  13. 01:26:31 "We tested the HCQ ourselves very intensively," which means there was no problem with the hydroxychloroquine from India and Pakistan.
  14. 01:26:39 But more importantly,
  15. 01:26:41 why were we forced to beg for a drug that should have been in our strategic national stockpile?
  16. 01:26:46 Not having hydroxychloroquine in our strategic national stockpile was a major error.
  17. 01:26:52 Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine have shown benefit for multiple bacterial weapons,
  18. 01:26:58 like coxiella burnetti,
  19. 01:27:00 as well as anthrax.
  20. 01:27:02 Coxiella burnetti is very interesting in that it has many of the same symptoms of what we were told was COVID early on in the pandemic.
  21. 01:27:09 When asked about coxiella,
  22. 01:27:10 a known biological weapon,
  23. 01:27:12 and why we weren't testing for it in the United States,
  24. 01:27:14 Dr Woodcock simply stated,
