  3. 01:05:01 This in vitro study showed the positive effects of chloroquine taken at any point during infection.
  4. 01:05:06 The study also showed the lack of benefit from remdesivir.
  5. 01:05:10 They concluded,
  6. 01:05:11 "Since these compounds have been used in human patients with a safety track record and shown to be effective against various ailments,
  7. 01:05:17 we suggest that they should be assessed in human patients
  8. 01:05:20 suffering from the novel coronavirus disease," which explains
  9. 01:05:23 why chloroquine is a recommended treatment in China.
