Chapter transcript
- 01:22:06 Because she's a rheumatologist.
- 01:22:07 She would have known how safe the drug was.
- 01:22:10 She would have prescribed it herself.
- 01:22:12 We submitted a Freedom of Information Act request for communications between Rick Bright and Janet Woodcock and received a call from the FDA.
- 01:22:19 A request for communications is considered a complex track request.
- 01:22:23 And these requests are processed in date order priority,
- 01:22:26 and there are currently 1,100 in the queue.
- 01:22:29 Okay.
- 01:22:30 So you'd be looking at at least 24 months before this comes up for processing.
- 01:22:35 And incidentally,
- 01:22:36 in terms of safety,
- 01:22:38 Dr Woodcock was also directly involved in the approval of all of the opioids including OxyContin and Fentanyl over the last 25 years,
- 01:22:45 a class of drugs taken at home by average Americans and responsible for millions of deaths.
- 01:22:51 Additionally,
- 01:22:52 Janet Woodcock was also on the editorial board of the New England Journal of Medicine when it published the fraudulent Surgisphere study.
- 01:23:00 To make her head of the FDA,
- 01:23:02 it's not just putting the fox in the hen coop,
- 01:23:05 it's putting the devil in the--I mean,
- 01:23:07 I can't imagine a worse appointment than Janet Woodcock.
- 01:23:11 When researching quinine through the Federal Register,
- 01:23:14 we discovered that Janet Woodcock and the FDA have
- 01:23:16 been actively working to restrict the United States
- 01:23:19 citizens from access to quinine for at least 27 years.
- 01:23:22 Claiming in 1995,
- 01:23:24 the agency tentatively concludes that quinine is not safe for over-the-counter use and the treatment of malaria.
- 01:23:31 Remember,
- 01:23:31 Sinchona and quinine were crucial to nearly every military conflict in the history of American warfare.
- 01:23:37 On August 2, 1946
- 01:23:38 Sinchona alkaloids were considered requirements for the defense of the United States.
- 01:23:44 If the leaders of the FDA and BARDA had been alive during World War II,
- 01:23:48 the United States would have very likely lost the war.
- 01:23:51 Each accused became a cogwheel in a monstrous slaughter machine.
